ORIENS IBC organises over 500 business meetings at ExpoPeru Dubai 2019

Dubai, 4 November 2019 – On behalf of the Trade and Investment Office of Peru in Dubai and Promperu, the Peruvian Export Promotion Board, on 3 November 2019, ORIENS coordinated a large business matching session at the Four Seasons Jumeirah: EXPO Perú.
The event featured a total of 50 Peruvian organizations including 39 exporting companies and 11 from the tourism sector. 150 international buyers took part in the business matching session, including companies from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, but also from India, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and Korea, invited by the Trade and Investment Offices of Peru in each country and by ORIENS Consulting.

Over 550 business meetings took place during EXPO Perú Dubai, generating million of dollars in commercial opportunities between Peru and Asian countries.

How Italian taste and lifestyle translates into business leadership: TUTTOFOOD and HostMilano meet with the business community in Dubai

Dubai, 1 November 2018 – On behalf of Fiera Milano, on the 31st of October 2018 ORIENS organised the convention HostMilano & TUTTOFOOD: Innovation and Excellence to Support the Growth of the Food & Hospitality Sector in the Gulf, with the involvement of about 80 selected representatives of the region’s business community, including about 70 buyers and manufacturers from the two sectors from the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Bahrain and trade media.

HostMilano, one of the world’s leading events for the professional hospitality industry in all its forms, and TUTTOFOOD, Italy’s most international food and agriculture trade fair, one of the top three events for the sector in Europe, were presented to the public as they represent the ideal setting for taking advantage of the opportunities for growth that the increasing trade between Italy and the Middle East is experiencing. These opportunities were discussed by a panel composed of: Boushant Ghandi, Commercial Manager of Trubell, the UAE’s biggest F&B importer and distributor; Uwe Micheel, who chairs the Emirates Culinary Guild; and Mohamed Kamal, Middle East and Africa Procurement Director for Millenium Hotels and Resorts.

Architects & Contractors from the Gulf Visiting Cersaie 2018

Bologna, 27 September 2018 – On behalf of EDI.CER.SPA and Confindustria Ceramica, from September 24th to 27th 2018, ORIENS organised a delegation of 12 architects, designers & contractors from the Gulf to CERSAIE 2018, the leading international event for ceramics, surface coverings and bathroom furnishings in Bologna, Italy. CERSAIE has 18 exhibition halls showcasing the widest selection of ceramic surfaces, wood floors, wallpaper, bathroom furnishings, fireplaces, saunas, designer taps, bathtubs and sanitary fixtures. EDI.CER.SPA sponsored the visit of the representatives from the Arab region and organised guided visits to the top exhibitors at the exhibition along with a visit to one of the biggest ceramic manufacturers in the world and a cultural tour in Bologna. As the Ceramic district near Bologna is home of the most important ceramic manufactures internationally, the direct contact with the producers is a valuable experience for architects and contractors alike.

GeoLab’s TEM technology introduced to Abu Dhabi City Municipality

Abu Dhabi, 26 December 2017 – ORIENS IBC meets the team of the Road Safety Unit of the Department of Municipal Affairs and Transportation of Abu Dhabi City Municipality for the introduction of the TEM technology developed by GeoLab for non-intrusive, non-destructive detection and monitoring of decay of reinforced concrete decay as a result of corrosion.

The officials of Abu Dhabi City Municipality expressed interest in knowing about the experience gained by GeoLab with the successful completion of the pilot project with the Ministry of Public Works in Dubai, and highlighted the great potential that the TEM technology for the optimisation of the maintenance works of the city’s infrastructure.

The Innovation Alliance exhibitions introduced at press lunch in Dubai

Dubai, 1 November 2017 – During a press lunch organised by ORIENS IBC at the Dubai World Trade Center Club, the organisers of the exhibitions Plast, Ipack-Ima, Meat-Tech, Print4All and Intralogistica Italia, global leaders in the production of machinery and technology for the manufacturing industry, introduced the Innovation Alliance for the first time in the Middle East.

ORIENS IBC leads large business delegation to HOST 2017 in Milan

Milan, 27 October 2017 – ORIENS IBC brings a delegation of 110 companies from the Middle East and 10 from Colombia to HOST 2017. The biggest exhibition in the world for the hospitality industry held its 40th edition at Fieramilano with outstanding success, reaching 2,165 exhibitors and over 187,000 visitors from all over the world.

The delegation organised by ORIENS IBC for Fieramilano included importers and distributors of professional kitchen equipment, food service equipment, bar and coffe equipment, master franchisees of recognised F&B chains, interior designers and architectural firms specialised in hospitality projects, importers of hotel supplies, hotel chains and distributors of ice cream ingredients and equipment. The hosted companies came from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon, Jordan and Colombia.

For the first time a group of chefs of the UAE Culinary Guild were invited, along with journalists from a selected group of printed and online media.

MOU Signed between UAE Society of Engineers and Sicily District of Mechatronics

The agreement marks the first collaborative effort of this nature between Sicily and the UAE
